Yes it's the end of twitter, not because its business model remains to be defined, but rather in what follows, because you will recognize:

You receive direct messages equally intrusive that boring kind of vote for me on digg like this?

Welcome to you because then it means that your twitter account has become a spam factory voluntarily or not, because in fact each is master of his fate, captain of his own ship, as I like to say.

Victim of Twitter's success leads to abuses and therefore not Twitter is not dead, it is just a victim of its success.
